Jeff Wolfe brings his expertise in traffic engineering to KTC. After spending 27 years at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), Mr. Wolfe retired as the Director of Traffic Operations. During his time with KYTC, he was instrumental in the deployment of various operational and safety countermeasures including, but not limited to, rumble strips, flashing yellow arrow displays, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, enhanced pavement markings, and Intersection Conflict Warning Systems. 

As Director of Traffic Operations, Mr. Wolfe established the direction for KYTC’s traffic engineering policies for over twelve years, and he is highly experienced in the use of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), which is the national standard for traffic control devices on public roadways.  Mr. Wolfe holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s of Public Administration from Kentucky State University.
