Ryan Griffith, PE, MPA
Research Engineer
Ryan Griffith is a research engineer at the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC). His areas of expertise include construction procurement, estimation, and management.
Before joining KTC, Mr. Griffith retired from a 30-year career at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). He worked in a variety of areas at KYTC including Construction, Highway Design, District Offices (3) and Construction Procurement. The last 10 years he was Division Director (Construction Procurement 2009-2013 and Construction 2013-2019). He implemented many new innovative processes at the Cabinet including electronic bidding for contractors on highway projects and electronic approval of change orders. Mr. Griffith holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s of Public Administration from Kentucky State University.
