Chris Goff is an Engineering Technician with the Bridge Preservation program and has been with the Center for 14 years. He graduated from Lexington Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technologies. Chris holds certifications in Ultrasound metal and Weld Inspection (UT) Level 2, Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) Level 1, High angle rope access for steel inspection, and Eddy Current (ET) surface and near-surface metal inspection Level 1. Chris’ areas of research expertise are in data collection and analysis (both field and lab), maintaining and repairing testing equipment, generating and analyzing large data sets for research studies, and solving everyday issues to facilitate research study completion. Chris served for 6 years in the Kentucky Army National Guard.
