Daryl Greer was employed for 34 years by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, serving in various capacities within the Bridge Preservation Branch, Division of Structural Design, Geotechnical Branch, and the Division of Planning. He has served on several panels and committees with the Transportation Research Board, National Cooperative Highway Research Program, and SHRP II. Daryl is a member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Kentucky Geotechnical Engineering Group. He is a Past-President of the Kentucky Association of Transportation Engineers and held leadership positions in both KSPE, ASCE, and the Kentucky Geotechnical Engineering Group. In 2003 Daryl received the Award for Achievement in Government from the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers. Daryl also was a Past-President and currently serves as a board member for the UK Alumni Band Association. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Kentucky.
