Engineer Associate III

Clayton Cook joined the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) as a full-time Engineer Associate in 2024. His current work focuses on forensic analysis and the design of both flexible and rigid pavements. Prior to KTC, he served as a professional engineer with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, as well as a senior programmer analyst at Eastern Kentucky University. His engineering experience includes producing design drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation, preparing specifications and cost estimates, conducting surveys, securing permits, performing feasibility studies, and projects involving retaining walls, culverts, bridge foundations, boat ramps, and dam removals. His programming background includes work with JavaScript, C#, Python, databases, and API development.
