Jeeyen Koo
Senior Research Scientist
Jeeyen Koo joined KTC in 2018 and is a Senior Research Scientist in the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Traffic Management section. She received her MPP from Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky in 2019. Her research at the Center includes correlating credentialing and safety violations and estimating weight mile and heavy vehicle use tax evasion rates. She has extensive experience in using statistical software to investigate and reveal meaningful relationships among variables. She also has expertise in using GIS tools to conduct spatial analysis and visualization of analytical results. Her research interests include motor carrier tax evasion, federal and state policies to improve highway safety, and the impact of electric vehicles on fuel tax revenue.
