Hala Nassereddine, PhD, is a research engineer for the Construction Engineering and Project Management group at KTC. Dr. Nassereddine holds an appointment in the College of Engineering as an Assistant Professor of Construction Engineering and Project Management. Dr. Nassereddine’s multidisciplinary research focuses on investigating cutting-edge innovations and practices that have the potential to disrupt the construction industry such as information and automation technologies (Building Information Modeling, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality), Lean Construction, and Integrated Delivery Systems. Additionally, Dr. Nassereddine’s research focuses on identifying the roadblocks that must be surmounted in order to transform the construction industry and improve its innovation, productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
Dr. Nassereddine holds a Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rafik Hariri University – Lebanon and a Master’s and Doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Nassereddine also holds a minor in Statistics and a certificate in Business, Environmental and Social Responsibilities from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
